About the job
You will work on a business-critical digital platform that enables secure data exchange and connected digital services. As part of an agile, cross-functional team, you will act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into high-quality software solutions. The project focuses on the continuous development of innovative digital services while ensuring operational stability, regulatory compliance, and efficient collaboration across all project stakeholders.
Your tasks
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders
- Create functional and technical specifications, including use cases, API definitions, interface descriptions, and non-functional requirements
- Develop and maintain epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira
- Facilitate workshops, requirement refinement sessions, and stakeholder discussions
- Support development teams by clarifying requirements and providing functional guidance throughout implementation
- Participate in backlog refinement and sprint planning, reviewing user stories and solution proposals
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation in Confluence, including requirements, specifications, meeting notes, and decisions
- Ensure timely clarification of business and technical questions to support efficient project delivery
Your experience
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or requirements engineering
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and IT teams
- Experience gathering requirements and writing user stories
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Strong analytical, structured thinking, and documentation skills
- Understanding of REST APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), cloud technologies, and CI/CD processes
- Experience with business modelling techniques (e.g. BPMN, use case diagrams, sequence diagrams) is an advantage
- Experience with API tools (Insomnia, SoapUI or similar), Enterprise Architect, Figma, or Domain-Driven Design is a plus
- Experience in automotive or telematics projects is an advantage
- Good English skills (B2 or better); German is an advantage
